Crawford CARE
Crawford CARE ensures that a sustainable and positive customer experience is at the core of our service. Crawford CARE is designed to influence behaviour and encourage all our people to act in a socially responsible and caring way.
As part of our Crawford CARE programme, we have committed to planting a minimum of 180 trees in 2011. Trees are planted in the names of our monthly CARE Award winners who demonstrate exceptional customer service or provide great team support. Our CARE Award winners are Crawford employees who truly go the extra mile for our customers or their colleagues. To achieve our tree planting goal, we are working with Trees for Cities.
The Crawford Global Day of Service, a company-wide volunteer initiative, grew out of a desire to help others help themselves. In 2010, the collective efforts of employees, family and friends contributed to projects around the world, and we expect an even broader reach this year. As the photographs from last year illustrate, the diversity of our global family is reflected in the variety and scope of service projects our employees chose to support on the Day of Service throughout the world.
Social and Environmental Responsibility
Crawford maintains a socially responsible way of working on a national scale and combines it with a modern approach to employment, technology, safety and the environment. We operate from a network of offices and home based employees to deliver the vast majority of our services which allows us to cut emissions. We have also cut emissions by installing video conferencing facilities in regional centres and these are in constant demand.
The issues of sustainability and climate change are taken seriously at Crawford and we are continually evolving to deliver our services in an environmentally responsible way. Crawford works closely with our insurance partners to deliver a level of corporate sustainability which makes a positive impact on insurers and their customers.
