Andrew Robinson is the global chief operating officer of Crawford & Company®, with responsibility for the company’s four business units Broadspire®, U.S. Services, International Operations and Garden City Group℠, LLC, in addition to the company’s Information Technology division.

Robinson brings 30 years of international strategic expertise and operational leadership and a track record of driving strong financial results. Robinson has guided growth strategies, identified and closed key acquisitions, integrated disruptive technology for competitive advantage and improved operational performance. His career has taken him all over the world -- doing business in over 20 countries.

Prior to joining Crawford & Company, Robinson was president of specialty insurance, executive vice president of corporate development and chief risk officer for The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. Robinson was also managing partner of global insurance at Diamond Management and Technology Consultants, now PWC Consulting, principal and co-founder of Exchange Partners, a management consultancy and technology company, and a senior manager at the management consultancy Symmetrix.

Currently, he serves as chairman of the board for WeGoLook, an online and mobile collaborative economy platform that Crawford acquired the majority interest in 2017, and he serves on the board of Groundspeed, an innovative artificial intelligence software as a service (SaaS) provider to the insurance industry. He has also served on several other boards including Chaucer Syndicates Limited, Breckenridge Insurance Services of Arsenal Capital, Brainspark and the Rhode Island Art League.

Robinson earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, where he was named a presidential scholar, the university’s highest academic achievement.
